FAMILIES
Mantua Hillside Family Legacy Session
September 30th, 2020
Karen, the pretty woman in the pink lace shirt, is INCREDIBLE! She works as a counselor at Fast Forward Charter High School, the same place that Alex is the Vice Principal at. She is such a kind, caring, hard working, and funny person! I was so excited to capture her beautiful family this past week.
Ever since I met Karen, I have always admired how much time and effort she puts into her kids and grandkids. I always thought how lucky they all were to have Karen as their mother. It was really fun to watch her kids hug her, laugh with her, and joke with her.
Just like all families, no one is perfect. I try to tell all of the families I photograph that it isn't a family session until tears are shed, refusal to smile occurs, and family jokes arise. One thing that I have really appreciated as a photographer is being exposed to a variety of families. Each family is unique and different, but when it comes down to it, each family is the same. Each family experiences ups and downs, tragedies, loss, hardship, fun, good times, and love. What matters most is that you keep loving and being there for each other.
Thank you Christiansen family, for the opportunity to capture your love for one another! You were all so awesome and easy to work with! I think it is safe to say that Grandma Marian was the MVP of the session! She is such an incredible young lady and I loved her enthusiasm :)
