Neutral At Home Newborn Session
July 11th, 2019
I am obsessed with this Newborn Portrait Session! We kept it casual by doing it at the Lamborn's residence, which was a my dream come true… Picture an A-Frame home, neutral backgrounds and A LOT of natural light. I could not have asked for a better setting. And what made it even better was that it was one of my dearest friends from high school and her incredible husband with their precious newborn, Lillian. That, my friends, is a recipe for an amazing session.
PROUD NEW PARENTS…
Newborn sessions are always unpredictable. You never know how sleepy the baby will be or how much energy the proud new parents are willing to put into it. Lillian did amazing though! With the right amount of shushing and warmth we were able to get some amazing images of sweet Lillian. And these proud new parents were so relaxed as I disassembled their living room piece by piece to get "the shot".
My favorite part of this session was that I was able to catch up with Ali and Chase. Two of the most incredible people you will ever meet. Seriously, they are incredible. Lillian is so lucky to have such incredible parents who will expose her to all things mountainous, fishing, adventure, rock climbing, you name it. My other favorite part of this session was to watch two of my good friends obsess over their teeny tiny human! It always takes me back to when Scarlet and Jack were newborns. It is such a hard, exhausting, and testing time but also the most incredible, loving, and joyful time.
Ali and Chase, THANK YOU for such an amazing session! I appreciate how calm and relaxed you were and loved catching up with you. Lillian, thank you for being the most adorable little thing, you did awesome! You have already stolen my heart.
