Golden Hour at Utah State Alumni House Portrait Session
November 2nd, 2019
Do you know those people that have a calming effect on you just by being around them? There are not many people I can name that have that effect on me. Which is why I was so taken aback during this session because Kate is one of those people! I could have taken pictures of Kate all day! If you have the opportunity to know her or meet her you will sense this genuine kindness and grace about her.
ONE OF THE MOST PRECIOUS GIFTS…
Kate's grandmother, Marilyn, scheduled this session with me to capture Kate at the time she turns sixteen! This gallery will be a gift for Kate's father. I may be biased as a photographer, but I think gifting beautiful images of your child is one of the most precious gifts for a parent! They grow up way too fast and in the blink of an eye they have flown the nest!
I am still having a hard time believing Scarlet turns three in January and Jack turns one in February! I am so grateful I am able to have beautiful images to look back on that take me back to that first year of their lives, of their milestone's, the way they smelled, the way they smiled at me, the way it felt to have their face pressed against mine. So I hope that years down the road from now, these images will take Kate's Dad back to the time when his sweet girl turned into this beautiful young woman. I hope these images will take him back to teaching her how to drive, her first dates, their time they spend together, and her sweet laughter.
RADIANT SMILE AND EFFORTLESS GRACE…
Marilyn and Kate, thank you so much for this session! It was pure class and elegance, just like you two! Kate, you are an incredible young woman with so much potential inside of you. You have the most radiant smile and effortless grace about you. I can only imagine the kind of woman you will grow up to be. One thing I am sure of, is that you will definitely be amazing like your mother and grandmother.
